California Cabernet Sauvignon
Designed specifically for use with the Vintner’s Best One Gallon Equipment Kit, these kits are incredibly easy to make. All you need is a half gallon of spring water and 30 minutes of time! No boiling, mashing, or special analysis needed, they are really that easy.
These kits yield 1 gallon of wine (5 bottles) and are ready to bottle in one month. They contain very low levels of sulfite and so should be drank fresh – within 3 months. However, added sulfites and preservatives can extend the shelf life.
Kits contain 1.65L of concentrated grape juice as well as packets of sulfites, potassium sorbate, clarifying agents like isinglass and chitosan, yeast, bentonite, and oak powder (if applicable).
