Reduce the level of tartaric acid in your wine wih Acidex Super-K! An easy-to-use powder that contains potassium bicarbonate and potassium bitartrate, Super-K can be used after fermentation and does not significantly alter the wine. It will cause tartrate precipitation, which is the tartaric acid crystals dropping out of solution. It is used by vigorously stirring a small amount to a high acid (low pH) wine and cold stabilizing for two weeks. Please note that it should be used after wine is fined and stabilized. More than 3 ounces should not be used on 6 gallons of wine. Specific instructions for usage are included on the packaging.
